This publication shares experiences of growth especially from women and youths whose interest in seed work has increased overtime due to the different activities implemented under the Farmer Field schools on Participatory Plant Breeding and Local Food Plants and Nutrition. Farmers further share the contribution of the community seed banks in ensuring seed security for the rural communities as well as their collaborations with local leaders, extension workers and crop breeders.
This publication was developed with financial support from Oxfam Uganda under the SD=HS Program.
